Ayane Suzuki (鈴木 綾音 Suzuki Ayane) is a character who was introduced in the Mifune East Arc of the MAJOR (series) (2nd season of the anime).

Ayane's Tamagotchi is confiscated by a teacher
Her friend initially expresses interest in becoming manager of the baseball club because she has a crush on the captain. In the anime, Ayane is bumped by someone on the stairs and is falling backwards, but she is caught by the captain. In the manga, Toshiya helps her recover her Tamagotchi from a teacher who confiscated it earlier.
She seems to have developed a crush in response to this, and asks her friend if more than one person can be manager. After noticing her glowing look, Ayane's friend declares that she will back off and instead support Ayane's love.

- The name Ayane means "design" (綾) (aya) and "sound" (音) (ne).
- Ayane's surname Suzuki means "bell" (鈴) (suzu) and "tree, wood" (木) (ki).
Trivia[]
- In the anime, Ayane is first seen when Goro Shigeno is running past her and she is nearby the game. In the manga, she is first seen during her first day at Tomonoura. Due to this, Ayane is introduced earlier in the anime than she is in the manga.
